Mr. Cub!

11.17.05

While out and about on this fine (19 degree!) day, Ed and I happened to run into Mr. Cub himself - Ernie Banks. He was posing for some pics in Millennium Park, in front of Cloud Gate, with some guys from Vineline and they were kind enough to let us hang around and take some shots. Posted by Picasa

(For those who don't get it...the title of this is Lonely Trike said in a child's accent. Thanks for looking.) Posted by Picasa

I've never been much of a coffee drinker. But this summer I discovered "frappucino." More specifically, Mint Mocha Chip ($3.30 tall, $3.80 Grande, $4.30 Venti).

I can't prove it, but Starbucks is putting heroin in their drinks. How else to explain the daily urge that overcame me shortly after waking? With a program of self-discipline, meditation and methadone (Pepsi, actually) I was able to pry myself away from my crippling addiction to that minty, creamy, mocha goodness. Posted by Picasa
